Qualifications and Experience
| Qualification |
Ph.D. with first class in Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University. |
| Experience |
Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience, including:
- 10 years in Pay Level-10 and above, or
- 5 years in Pay Level-11 and above, or
- 3 years in Pay Level-12
Experience in Govt./PSU or equivalent in Industry is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with at least 12 years of experience as Assistant Librarian in reputed Central Higher Educational Institutions/Private Academic Institutions of repute. |
Job Description
- Establish and implement library and information policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage convenient, accessible library and information services.
- Manage budgets for library services, technology, and media.
- Oversee online resources, records, and procurements of books, journals, and periodicals.
- Monitor VTLS Virtual and RFID Library Management System.
- Prepare reports and analyze library and information service requirements.
- Handle any other responsibilities as assigned.
